Arcadia exhibited at E-ATP conference (Europe-ATP—regional division of the Association of Test Publishers) in Noordwijk (the Netherlands). During a ‘Lunch with Exhibitors and Product Demonstrations,’ Ivan Lavrov demonstrated COOP—our app that allows taking group tests in real time. A lot of visitors wished to see the demo: during the lunch hour, Ivan made about 15 presentations of the product.
IVAN LAVROV: ‘The visitors were charmed by the interactive demo which we made on two touchpads. Besides, we were one of the very few companies who implemented gamification ideas.’
Many visitors asked about the possibility to add business-specific features: e.g., a medical company was interested in adding large photos.’
Well, sometimes there was a misunderstanding: some people didn’t see a difference between gamification and games and expected to see something like Arkanoid.’
The conference brought us a lot of new exciting contacts with companies in Europe, the US, and even Australia. Besides, it was a great pleasure to participate in the Sponsored reception by a gold sponsor of the event—Prometric.
