BI & Analytics Developer (Global Medical Safety)

This is a remote position open to candidates working from any location except Russia and Belarus.

Working hours: Central European Time (CET/CEST).

We are seeking an experienced BI & Analytics Developer to support reporting, analytics, and dashboard development within a regulated pharmacovigilance environment to help managing safety investigations, late cases, and compliance workflows across multiple regions and health authorities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern BI platforms, data visualization, and transforming complex data into meaningful insights for operational excellence and data-driven decision making.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders and product teams to design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions for global pharmacovigilance and medical safety processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Build scalable data visualization solutions using modern BI platforms.
  • Collaborate with business users to identify reporting needs and recommend visualization best practices.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reporting solutions.
  • Optimize dashboard performance and improve user experience.
  • Support ad hoc analytics requests and data exploration initiatives.
  • Document reporting solutions and maintain development standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Qlik Cloud (preferred).
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design best practices.
  • Experience building analytical reporting solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • English level: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare organizations, particularly medical safety, pharmacovigilance, or drug safety.
  • Understanding of regulatory environments (FDA, EMA, GxP) related to medical safety reporting.
